Round 1 – Aggressiveness
Ladd Russo is known to be a sadistic psychopathic gangster who enjoys inflicting pain and misery on others and even finds the spill of blood to be stimulating to him, he is very hyperactive when it comes to hand-to-hand combat and is very skilled in boxing. He also has a fair knowledge of handling firearms and is one of the Russo Family’s most deadly assassins.
Revy also a deadly mercenary working as a crew member of the Black Lagoon, she much like Ladd enjoys killing and bringing pain upon others however she has a very dangerous temper and is easy to be set off. She is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat and works really well when it comes to firearms, she shows absolutely no mercy when it comes to killing and can be mentioned as a psychopathic killer. Now that we got that out of the way, let’s start the round.
In a battle of aggressiveness both of these characters stand in equal ground between each other, Ladd’s sadistic personality and his dark sense of humour compliments his overall aggressiveness in combat and in everything in general. Revy however is a hot-tempered woman with a very aggravated attitude which helps more in aggressiveness. Ladd never usually shows sign of aggressiveness mainly because he is always hyperactive and excited when it comes to fights and killing although he does who anger when , but Revy expresses a huge sense of anger when she is agitated and truly sends her into psychotic rage mode whilst in battle. So to put this round short Revy is superior in the case of aggressiveness merely for her hot-temper and bad attitude.
Round 2 – Combat
To put it bluntly I will be analysing the combat ethics and firearms use of Ladd and Revy, Ladd mainly uses his barrage of punches in combat as he particularly shows skills in boxing, even killing a man by viciously punching his face in. He does use firearms but not as much as the work of his own fist, however Revy uses her firearms almost every chance she gets and is highly trained whilst using them. Revy also seems to very skilled when it comes to close range and long range combat and has shown to have super human agility and speed, Ladd’s professional skills are only limited to boxing and firearms however he has never needed more than that even whilst fighting normally or even on a moving train, honestly Revy is far superior then Ladd.
This may seem like a biased statement but Revy is better than Ladd, for one Revy has always won or at the very least survived whilst in combat as opposed to Ladd who hasn’t done much to that as he has only come to face gunman lower ranked then him. The only time Ladd has known to face someone that is equal if not stronger than him would be Veno, a train conductor who had thrown him off a moving train and almost cost him his life. So with that being said the winner of this match Revy of Black Lagoon.
